THESIS CAFÉ: LET'S WRITE TOGETHER
We organise a weekly Thesis Café. The purpose is to immediately assist students with general questions concerning research methodology, quoting references, academic language, statistics, data collection and analysis, structuring your thesis, Mathis, informed consent, time management, organizing your thesis, … and other practicalities related to your thesis. This way, thesis supervisors can concentrate more on the academic merits of the works.
Online sessions (Teams)
For the time being, we will continue (like the previous academic year) with the online format of the Thesis Café. You are very welcome to join the live Thesis Café Teams session every Friday between 12-1 pm via this link. The first session is this Friday, October 1, 12-1 pm. A teaching assistant (Stephanie Tintel) from the ES Faculty will be present to whom you can ask your questions. The assistant will go over every question during the session and will her/his very best to provide you with the best answer possible. No need to prepare anything in advance for the online sessions of the Thesis Café, just prepare your question(s). Feel free to join if you just wish to listen, and you have no specific question(s) (yet).
Online forum (Google sheet)
We also provide an online forum where you can write down your questions in a google sheet. We check this forum regularly and provide (written) answers to the questions. Please take the time to check whether your question(s) ha(s)(ve) been already asked, before writing a new question in the forum. There are already more than 200 questions and answers present in the forum (collection from the two previous academic years).
