On Friday 9 February 2018, the VUB International Relations office organised an afternoon session to welcome the more than 100 new international students who have arrived at the VUB to start the 2nd semester through their exchange programmes.

They assembled in Building D, where they got their Visit.Brussels welcome packs, and were given some important information on Belgium, Brussels and the VUB. The afternoon was organised by the VUB International Relations office with Infopunt, and included presentations from different student bodies as well, such as the International Student Platform (ISP), BSG and ESN VUB EhB Brussels.

After the more formal presentations, there was a campus tour for all the students organised by ESN VUB EhB Brussels. ESN had already done a similar campus tour in Jette for the newcomers in the morning. To close the afternoon, the new arrivals were all treated to drinks at the VUB Sports Complex building, where they could meet and mingle with fellow students, returning VUB students back from their exchanges, as well as the exchange coordinators.  (read on below the photo)
